Madonna Denied

Madonna's petition to adopt a four-year-old girl in Malawi has been rejected by a local judge. The pop star adopted her 3-year-old son, David Banda, from Malawi a few years back. CNN has more on the story.

Madonna was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this past week. The 49-year-old's new hip hop themed record, Hard Candy, hits stores next month.

Entertainment Tonight is reporting that Madonna and Justin Timberlake will perform together at next month's 2007 MTV Video Music Awards on September 9th in Las Vegas. It's all rumors until the big show and MTV loves to have surprises.

I wouldn't normally do this....but it's Madonna! The Material Girl celebrates her 49th birthday today! Word on the street is that her royal Madgesty is planning a big Central Park gig for her 50th birthday in 2008.

Madonna Sets Fall Release

According to Drowned Madonna, her royal Madgesty is set to release a new album on October 29th, 2007. This is not 100% confirmed yet and release dates are always subject to change. Madonna has stated that she wants her new album released this fall. She has been working with Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, and Pharrell to re-invent her sound again.
