Taye and Idina Expecting

Private Practice star Taye Diggs and Tony-award winning actress Idina Menzel (Wicked) are expecting their first child. The couple met while starring in RENT on Broadway and married in 2003.

RENT: Coming to Theaters

No they aren't making a sequel or bringing the movie back to the big screen. Sony Pictures is launching The Hot Ticket, which will bring the final performance of the Broadway musical to the big screen this September. RENT first opened on Broadway in 1996. Cirque Du Soleil Delirium will launch The Hot Ticket this August.

This is great news and many people who will be unable to make the New York performance can be a part of the show's end after 12 years.

RENT to Close

Sad news for fans of the Broadway musical RENT. The phenomenal Tony Award winning musical that has run for the last 12 years is set to close following it's June 1st performance.

No show moved me quite as much as RENT did.

RENT Gets New Lease in London

International fans of the Broadway musical RENT can check out a new production of the show hitting London's West End in October. This new production will reinvent the show bringing new orchestrations and some other new tweakings. While RENT has been extremely successful in New York City, it hasn't been as popular oversees.
