The ailing dictator wrote in an editorial in the communist party newspaper, Granma, that the pairing of the two Senators would be invincible according to CNN. Now, who's to say Fidel Castro even wrote this. He may very well have been dead for a while now and someone else in the government might be trying to cover things up.
