Sex and the City Takes the Country

Sex and the City has become the biggest R-rated comedy ever with an opening weekend of $55.7 million. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull dropped to second still taking in about $46 million bringing it over the $200 million mark.

I loved the Sex and the City movie. All the girls were good. Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall were easily the best. I expect a sequel.

Sex and the City Begins Filming

The first shot of Sex and the City's big screen debut is here! The movie will star Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, Chris Noth, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler and Jason Lewis in reprisals of their tv roles. I'm loving this picture of Big and Carrie. They both look great, and I love the dress. I was never a fan of these two together (how could anyone cheat on Aidan??) but in the end, even I agreed they were right for each other. We'll see how they do on the big screens...

Mr. Big is Back

The Green Room can confirm that Chris Noth will be joining Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis in the Sex and the City feature film. He will, of course, be reprising his role as Mr. Big (aka John), whom Carrie ended up with at the show's conclusion. The film will start shooting in New York this fall with a 2008 release date.
