Down the Rabbit Hole for Eckhart


Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight) is in talks to join Nicole Kidman in the film version of the Broadway play "Rabbit Hole." The play tells the story of a married couple who lose their four-year-old son in a car accident and the redemptive journey they undertake to regain their happiness.

Day-Lewis In Talks for Nine


Academy Award winning actor Daniel Day-Lewis is in final talks to join Rob Marshall's movie musical Nine. Day-Lewis will play the role of Guido Contini. The role was originally signed to Javier Bardem, who dropped out to take a break from acting. Also starring in the film include Oscar winners Nicole Kidman, Dame Judi Dench, Marion Cottillard, Sophia Loren, and Penelope Cruz.

Nicole Kidman Bares All to Vanity Fair

Academy Award winning actress Nicole Kidman told Vanity Fair that she suffered a miscarriage shortly after marrying Tom Cruise at the age of 23. She said the traumatic experience caused her to adopt first daughter Bella. Kidman suffered a second miscarriage in 2001 a month after she filed divorce from Tom Cruise. I really feel for Nicole. I think she's immensely talented and much better off without Tom Cruise.

Superbad rules the box office this weekend. The new comedy was the number 1 film taking in an estimated $31,200,000. Nicole Kidman's new pic The Invasion did not do so well despite a wide release. Congratulations to Hairspray for passing the $100 million mark domestically!

Superbad/The Invasion

Seth Rogan's creation Superbad and the Nicole Kidman/Daniel Craig thriller The Invasion both hit theaters. Which one should you check out? Well, according to Rotten Tomatoes, Superbad is this week's pick with a current 89% fresh rating. Meanwhile, critics are warning to stay away from The Invasion which is currently at 19% with 47 rotten and only 11 fresh reviews. The choice is yours. I think I'll check out Superbad.
