A 911 emergency call released to the press confirms that Owen Wilson was hospitalized for a suicide attempt.

Owen Wilson, who was hospitalized yesterday, has released a statement to the media. The actor says through his publicist, “I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time.” News outlet allege that Wilson slit his wrists and overdosed on pills after an apparent suicide attempt.
